The shop said “we don’t know, maybe all your sensors broke since last month when the old module still worked, wanna buy new ones?”Īre the wheel sensors programmed/saved into the reader module under the car? So the new one must obviously be told the IDs of the sensors because it’s new and, well, empty? Or are they saved somewhere else in the car and the module should just intermediate transmission between wheel sensors and main computer? Been driving for hours today, even did constant speed, to no avail. Now the screen shows four green wheels, “tyre pressure will be measured while driving” and all values are “-“. They activated/coded the new module (BMW shop). I ended up having to replace all 4 struts/shocks with new BMW dealer parts to get the system working properly (was stuck in super-hard mode) Some history: We replaced the EDC module several times this year, as part of the EDC diagnostic/rebuild process. The fact that I can't communicate with EDC using the DIS concerns me. I cannot clear the errors using INPA, I hit F4 to "reset" them and they are still there. My problem here is that within INPA, I can see many errors about "Pegelsensor Hinten B" etc etc, and I want to diagnose them and see if they are still present. Something that makes this even more interesting, is that with INPA I can communicate with the EDC module, and I can read realtime values from it's sensors. ISTA+ also, cannot see it, says "ECU Not responding"Īt the same time, EDC does function, S-EDC light turns on / off, and the car rides fine, its' not in failsafe mode. I am trying to diagnose/code my EDC module in a '00 750i, and DIS v44 cannot see it.
